April 21, 2016 - Regular Meeting Agenda Item #19 Item Title C-15 Proclamation #16-14 National School Nurse Day May 11, 2016 Issue/Rationale The National Association of School Nurses has designated May 11, 2016 as School Nurse Day.  School Nurse Day has been established to foster a better understanding of the role of school nurses in the educational setting.  Therefore, this year's School Nurse Day recognizes the vital role that school nurses have played in improving the health and well being of our country's children. Recommended Action Approve the Proclamation endorsing National School Nurse Day May 11, 2016 as submitted. Financial Impact None.
